We win to attitude; we fail to attitude. Recently, I’ve been looking back to see the many roads I walked – to see the decisions I made, and the actions I took. I beat myself several times because I can tell that the many junctions I failed on those roads were due to the wrong attitudes. I can now tell that there were answers all around me, to help me deal with the many things I called problems, but I just didn’t have the right attitude to appreciate the solutions that were readily available for me – I was naive, stupid, and carefree. I thought destiny was luck – I thought it was a positive eventuality, which comes with a high probability of occurrence. So rather than take possession of the answers around me, I was waiting for another solution with my name boldly written on it, but that answer…

Passion is when you are strong about something you love to do. For examples like your talent because you have the desire to do it. Some people have different types of passions like; being on TV, writing books or even being an inspirational speaker. Now let’s move on to people who have these passions. Number 1, Walt Disney – when Disney was growing up, he was obviously working to earn more cash but also on his spare time, he was drawing pictures. But the first picture he ever sold was a picture of his neighbour’s horse. He didn’t stop there, he kept on working very hard night and day to be an amazing artist and have a very famous film company. Number 2, Thomas Jefferson is so celebrated as a statesman, writer, architect and librarian – it’s easy to miss the fact that he was a celebrated violinist. Jefferson took…

Michelle Obama said, ‘When girls are educated, their countries become stronger and more prosperous.’ There has been significant progress in girls’ education, but still, not every girl is able to be educated especially more in LICs, which is upsetting. A child’s education is vital as it gives them the knowledge and skills they require. These are reasons why a girl should be educated: 1. It Furthers Educated Generations: By sending a girl to school, she is more likely to send her children to school. An African proverb says, ‘If you educate a man, you educate an individual, but if you educate a woman, you educate a nation.’ 2. It Narrows Pay Gap and Increases Chance of Entering the Workforce:Christina Taylor says ‘Girls’ education is about so much more than knowledge. By ensuring a girl has equal access to education, employment and adequate healthcare, the benefits will pass on to her children, community…

If you want to achieve your dream in life, what is the way to go? If you want to reach that goal and make it count, what is the way to go? If you want to write your name in gold, and leave a legacy on earth that the world will see and admire, what is the way to go? The way to go isn’t defined by the sat nav. The direction that’ll lead to an admirable life isn’t a function of the A to Z map. The way to go is to follow the footsteps of your innate potentials. Make your nature count. Make your essence of existence tread the road of destiny, leaving undeletable footprints. Walk on earth with a positive arrogance. Glide like the bird showing off its ability to fly high. Soar like the eagle. You’ve got the will to go – just go, and never…

11 June 1988, a concert was hosted in Wembley stadium to celebrate the 70thbirthday of Nelson Mandela. When it was Stevie Wonder’s time to play, he discovered that the hard disc of his synclavier containing 25 minutes of his synthesised music was missing, and that was meant to be used in the concert. He got frustrated, started crying and walked out of the stadium. This created a gap meant to be filled up, as the spectators were waiting for the next act. Tracy Chapman was then new and unknown, although her new album already sold 250,000 copies, which was relatively small to make her known, but in spite of that, she stepped up to fill the gap. She performed two songs from her new album, “Fast car” and “Talkin’ ‘Bout a Revolution,” and that shot her to stardom. In two weeks, she sold two million copies. First, Tracy Chapman was…

The world’s most expensive car is Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita – it costs $4.8 million. According to Koenigsegg website, the model has a unique coated fiber solution that transforms its fibers from black to a sparkling, silvery white. When sunlight hits the Trevita, it sparkles as if millions of tiny white diamonds are infused inside the visible carbon fiber bodywork. The Trevita was originally intended to be a limited edition of three examples. The white carbon fiber used for the Trevita made the car extremely difficult and time consuming to manufacture,  and a decision was taken to make the car even more exclusive and limit the number of Trevitas made to just two. As expensive as Trevita is – $4.8M, for crying out loud, tell me if you will trade your life for it, or trade any life for it, if you’re in your right mind. Of course, no! Therefore, be grateful…

Arsene Wenger said, ‘When you look at people who are successful, you will find that they aren’t the people who are motivated, but have consistency in their motivation.’ Consistency is power, and it is what inspires success. Without consistency, every dream will die at birth stage. Those who climbed Mount Everest, didn’t do it without pains – they succeeded because despite the agony, consistency made them reach the summit. The industry bests didn’t attain their goals without the power of consistency. The great champions emerged and ruled in their chosen fields because they were consistent. You can’t achieve anything, you can’t become anything, you can’t reach any enviable height without consistency. I am not excited by your dream – I am excited by your consistency. I don’t respect your flamboyance – I respect your consistency. I am not impressed by your persuasive speech – I am impressed by your consistency.…

What makes people succeed in their endeavours are the little bits of positive things they consistently do, and what makes many fail is either not doing the things they should do, or doing what they shouldn’t do. I failed many times, not because I did what I shouldn’t do, but because I didn’t do what I should do. Until I began to be a doer, I didn’t succeed in my pursuits. To help you succeed, I will tell you ‘The 20 Lessons that Helped Me Stand Out in Life.’ Lesson one – You must have a plan: you can’t reach anywhere without a plan. You can become anything tangible without a plan. You can do anything worthwhile without a plan. Your excellence or underachievement is a reflection of whether you planned it or not. When it is well planned, it has the potential to be well executed. Excellence is when…
